Term 2 has always been our most actively engaging term and it requires all hands on deck, so be ready to embrace the upcoming events in the standard: a blend of academic, enriching and fun activities. Our annual and most loved presentation on Myths and Legends by Dr Graves will happen in Week 6 during school time. In the past, this presentation has led to an influx of the Std 5 children in the library in search of books to take them down the path of the Greek mythologies.

The children are busy preparing for the Mid-Year assessments, which will take place in Week 7. Various study skills are being explored during our life skills lessons to help and assist our children.

This year’s Viking Day will bring yet another thrill in Week 12. This is an opportunity for our children to learn more about another strong and influential civilization from across the world, in line with their previous learning of Ancient Egyptians, The Bantu, The Khoi-San and The Aztecs.
