North vs South Cricket

At the end of Term 1, our selected Southern ISAB cricketers took on their Northern counterparts in Maun. The team were wonderfully hosted by Matshwane School and our Thornhill children represented themselves with distinction. The scores over the two days were as follows:

Match 1 – 25 Overs

South 139 for 2
(De Vrye 51 n/o, Heinrich 20 n/o)
North 44 all out
(Ewan 3 for 11, Ibrahim 3 for 2
South won by 95 runs

Match 2 - Declaration

South 217 for 6
(Nathan 52, De Vrye 34)
North 71 all out
(Ewan 3 for 7, Nathan 4 for 6, Kayle 1
for 1, Heinrich 1 for 10)
South won by 146 runs

Well done to the Southern cricket team on their resounding win and I hope that all the players involved made good memories.
