U13 Softball Festival

In Week 2 of the term, Thornhill Primary proudly hosted an U13 Softball Festival that brought together talented young players from Clifton, JMS (Francistown), TDS and Baobab. The festival aimed to immerse all participating players in the sport, providing a fun and productive start to the softball season.

The matches, held over the weekend, were played in great spirit. It was an inspiring experience, with players not only showcasing their skills, but also learning valuable lessons in team-work, sportsmanship, and the fundamentals of softball.

This event was a wonderful way to kick off the season, and we are incredibly proud of how much the players grew in confidence and ability over the weekend. The boys team were unbeaten throughout the weekend and the girls won three, drew one and lost one game. We look forward to seeing the continued development as the season progresses.
