Std 7 Polar Bear Swim

 

 

 

 

The Std 7’s have braved the elements and have begun the 2024 Polar Bear Swim. It is a rather challenging task getting up that little bit earlier in the middle of winter, putting on a costume and preparing to swim before the sun has even risen! But about 30 Std 7 pupils are doing just that! The first swim went off well, with many screams being heard as the swimmers realised how cold the water is! Many of the parents were there to cheer their child on. Each swimmer is given a very warming cup of hot chocolate once they have completed the swim.

We hope the children enjoyed their swims.
